censor leads to shame no viewers and etc i watched a movie sequel for a XXX movies and the movie was rate pg-13 with no XXX at all but it a sequel to a rate R movie dont censor or else bad thing ur happen and your link to your site is hard to find on your page so im posting it on this Comment
SickDeathFiend.co m that is the site in case you don't know it
Oh and censor = loss of viewers but in case of loss of view and bad comments and complaints release the uncensored to NG in case of that
Censoring can be a good idea if you want more exposure, people WILL go see the uncut version on your site and since your site has ads you'll get revenues there as well. And go online on AIM, I got something to show you for your secret game hehe :P
NG's audience may be getting a bit soft, but I'm surprised you haven't been approached by a number of other sites. There's definitely a market for violent stuff out there. And like I said before, I don't think it's NG's choice about what's allowed with the API, since the ads are third party. Sponsorship still feels like a viable route.
Looking forward to that new project ;)
I don't blame Ng or anything, its the nature of the beast. Just trying to find loopholes :)
Actually you can run the api on mature, and adult submissions, I have without any problems (and my stuff has swearing, nudity and excessive violence), even psycho goldfish has an A.O. submission that runs the api.
So I don't think you should have any problems if you do run them...
I mean krinkles runs them on his "madness" submissions and those are obscenely violent!
Food for thought...
Tom fulp Messaged me himself and told me you can't have the api on mature/adult movies/games, and removed them himself, so you are incorrect.
I guess they bend the rules for certain people, I dunno, but not me. So I am kinda forced to censor at this point.
Well that sucks, you could do what Edmund did and put your submissions on a cd, I'm sure people would buy it... Still that's really weird considering psycho goldfish is staff and all.
Also if your really needing cash I can send you a five dollar banknote via snail mail, I think your contributions are worth at least that.
Lastly maybe try and get a deal with unearthed films, your stuff would be right up their alley...
I mean they carry "city of rott", and your work is of a higher calibre than that so you might want to send them in some of your stuff, and see if they will distribute it on dvd or something.
Ok that's all the advice I have to bestow...
Get yourself some cash, censor and have the links.
Maybe post some commission stuff for your artwork too- I'm sure there are some people who would love to have an ultra gory piece of art in there home
(;
you are one violent f**ker dude and a scary one
I don't think censoring is the way to go because you would get a bunch of "sell out" reviews, and the best part of a lot of movies are taken out.
I think you should talk to Tom about making a tshirt for the store. I still wear my shirt and I'm sure a ton of kids would buy a zombie shirt over pico/tankmen.
"sell out" would only make sense if I charged money to see the uncut version, or if there wasn't one to begin with.. Although I feel I deserve to charge money for my work, its not feasible without a publisher or something.
To any that would say that, I'd say they are ungrateful at best.
I've been making movies for free since 2003. I'm in bad shape money wise right now, which will mean no more movies from me for a very long time.
I don't think its asking to much to click a link to see the uncut version on my site. If my hard work isn't worth an extra click of the mouse to anybody, then so be it. Plus all the softies can still enjoy the censored version, and won't be able to cry about it lol.
I don't know if it will make much of a difference or not, only 1 way to find out.
selling a t-shirt never really worked out for me. I dunno, I don't see that making a difference.
Just keep in mind there will just be 2 versions of the same movie, the 'sanitized' and the 'directors cut' both free to watch.
Yeah, I see your point, and I wasn't saying I agree with the sell out thing, it's just kids on this site.. you know. Krinkles even gets shitty "sell out" reviews for his movies with advertisements, but it isn't that big of a deal.
I'm sure I don't need to tell you this, but in my experience of having a movie on the front page with "zombie" in the title got me tons of views in no time, even though the zombie name may not have been as original sounding. I'm just saying if you want to get a ton of views and money, it's something to keep in mind.
Good luck man
Money is an important thing man, if you need to make ends meet than you need to do what you need to do. And if some lazy ass doesn't want to take an extra second to click to see what you really do, than that's there problem. My point, do what you need to do to get some sort of pay.

Your stuff is good enough that I'm sure if you told people that they could donate to you they'd go for it.
